Hey hey. I'm Sasha.
Digital storyteller,
Photographic narrator,
Hogwarts alum.
In real life, I write things. I speak fluent sarcasm. I'm unintentionally funny. My favorite thing is food. Guac is life. I'm a fountain of the most random information. I'm pretty, only because it's weird to call oneself beautiful. I'm weird in all the good ways. I live in the greatest city on Earth. I was Sasha before Beyonce was schizophrenic.
My life is stranger than fiction. But please, don't take my word for it.
My pen is mightier than my sword.

musings
Truth is, I'm not innocent. I'm just an abstinent fireplace that doesn't wanna feel the fire kindled between her legs anymore so don't mind the ashes. They're just evidence of how brightly I can glow and I wanna glow hard like one dim star on an otherwise starless night that shines just to prove its fidelity.

  the women
Saturday, September 12, 2009 || 9:39 PM

Since I blogged about the men in my life, I figured I couldn't leave out the few lovely ladies who are special to me. These are the women who make my life what it is and in turn, make me who I am. You should really thank them. =)
The Diva
For the past six years, we've pretty much been attached at the hip. Her moving away three years ago really didn't change that at all. If anything, we've only gotten closer. She always has my back, no matter what and I'm so thankful for her. She's the only person who gets all of my crazy jokes, the only person I know who still knows how to do kid 'n play (sadly enough), the only one I can jam to kompa with and the only one who's just as out there as I am. It's weird how much we have in common considering the fact that we're like polar opposites. But what can I say? I love her to death and my life wouldn't be the same without her.
The Fashionista
She's been the older sister I never had and so much more for the past eighteen years. I don't know where I'd be without this woman. I'd be so lost without her because for as long as I can remember, she's been such a permanent fixture in my life. The foolishness never seems to end when she's around, and usually, we can laugh hysterically until we both get massive headaches and then we just keep on laughing. When she's around, the whole world is funny and nothing makes sense. But I love her for bringing the funny and crazy into my life. Plus, she's the best shopping partner I can ask for. She's one of the only people who actually get my style. Somehow, she always knows what I'm thinking and we can always see eye to eye. Add that to the fact that she's always dragging me on these random but extremely fun outings (also known as "field days") and I'd have to say that I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect sister if I tried.
The Wallflower
This one is a little difficult for me to talk about. I've known her for twelve years and we're good friends. I know she'll always have my back but I just don't know what to say about this one and I wouldn't even begin to know how to describe this friendship. I used to think I was shy until I met her. We're close but still distant. We're somewhat alike but very different and we want very different things. This is difficult to explain. It's one tough cookie and I think I'll leave it alone.
The Realist
This one is a trip and a half. She always tells it like it is and it always cracks me up. Her raw humor and cutthroat attitude makes her one of my favorite people. She has this "I don't give a shit" attitude that I admire and she's just so friggin cool. What more can I say? She's friggin awesome.
The Daydreamer
This chick never fails to make me laugh. She says the most outrageous things and then looks at everyone else like they're the crazy ones. She's always trying to turn a lie into the truth which is always a funny sight to see, and she's always floating around in her own head, having one-sided conversations. The funnies never end with this girl and I love a good laugh so whenever she's around, I know we'll have fun. She's just too much for words.
So like I said, there aren't many, but the few that are in my life mean a helluva lot to me and I'm thankful that they're a part of my life because I can't begin to imagine it without them. I friggin live these heffers. =)
