I can't believe the semester is over already. Time really flew. At the beginning of the semester, I blogged about my exhausting first day of school and now that the semester is over, I'm sure you're all dying to find out how it went. Or not. Whatever. In any event, I'm gonna tell you all how it went anyway so dying or not, you're gonna hear about it. I just reread that last blog entry and couldn't help but laugh. But I'll start from the beginning. My English class was ok but in the end, I wasn't really doing as well as I could. I ended up dropping that class. It kinda sucks because I eventually have to take it but I'm glad I did drop it in the end. That cute guy Akeem that I met that morning, we don't talk anymore. While he is adorable, he was kinda obnoxious in a "I'm gonna tickle you every chance I get" kinda way. Let it be known, being tickled is not something I generally enjoy. Sure it's cute once in a while but not every second of every minute of every stupid day. It had to end, one way or another. However, while we were still talking, he introduced me to his friend Woody. Woody is HILARIOUS. He never stops cracking me up. I saw him the week before school ended and we hung out during my break. He had me dying of laughter as always so I'm really glad I met him. My math class ended up turning into a total fiasco, as I knew it would. I won't even go into it, it's way too depressing. My art class, however, really turned around and became the class I had been looking forward to all summer long. I won't lie and say it was easy but it was really fun and I learned so much. My professor turned out to be really cool and she's so funny. She always kept the class interesting. There was never a dull moment and my final project turned out amazing because of her. I didn't even know I was capable of doing that kind of work but everything turned out fine. My journalism class was great. My professor was awesome and I learned a lot in that class as well. Between my art class and my journalism class, though I really like both of them, I think this semester, I learned a lot about myself. And now I'm thinking I might want to get into graphic design as well as journalism and photography. They do all go together and I could be a one woman powerhouse. Wishful thinking I suppose, but you never know. My art professor told me I have a knack for design and I could be a designer if I wanted to. That extremely high praise coming from her and it meant a lot to me. However, I did get more than kickass design skills from that art class. There was a really cute guy in that class and he ended up dropping it, but not before we exchanged numbers. We're just friends now but hey, you never know what could happen. Anywhoo, I'm just really glad the semester is over. Now I can relax and look forward to the holidays! :0) Labels: in real life |
