Everyone is in the holiday spirit right now. Yet another Thanksgiving has come and gone and I'm still thinking about it. I had a good Thanksgiving this year but that's not really what's been on my mind. Really, it all boils down to me just having a lot to be thankful for. So here's what I'm thankful for in a nutshell (more or less lol)… I'm thankful for 2009, for having lived to see this year and living and learning throughout the year. This year has been a good one, full of ups and downs and very educational in every way imaginable and it's not even over yet. So I'm thankful for the experiences I've had this year, the ups as well as the downs, without which, I wouldn't be who I am right now. I'm thankful for my closest friends, Cass for always being there, Den for always pushing me harder, Rony for educating me on the workings of the human mind, Andy for loving me past everything we've been through, Nessa for her kind words of encouragement, Todd for his never ending cluelessness, Jendi for his musical talent and funny character, Kendra and Nicole for all the inside jokes, Marcus for still being funny "boodacakus" after everything, Ricky for being my twin (IR0NY!), Darren for always being FP when I need a smile, Eva for our retarded arguments and Jess for being around when I need a laugh. These are the people who make me who I am, the ones who would do just about anything for me and the ones I know will always be there for me. I'm thankful for the friends I've lost, the lessons I've learned and of course, all the haters. The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. I must be doing something right. =) I'm thankful for the ones I've loved, the ones who've loved me and the one's I've lost. You live and you learn and each experience has made me stronger in some way or another. I'm thankful for my family, just as they are (this crazy screwed up craptastic bunch of people)…yeah, I said it lmao Most of all, I'm thankful for God, without whom the rest of the list would cease to exist =) Labels: friends and fam, personals |
