Never mind the title, I was just listening to the song and it made me wanna write. Weird, I know. Needless to say, this will be a little random but whatever. So as you may or may not know, my 22nd birthday is in 3 days (woo hoo!) and I was just thinking about what I was doing last year in the week leading up to my birthday because I’m doing a whole lot of nothing now. It’s actually looking like my whole week is going to be boring and uneventful but I won’t speak too soon, it’s only Tuesday after all. And everyone knows what comes after Tuesday, *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*……Wednesday! Duhh *rolls eyes* seriously people, try to keep up! But other than looking forward to hump day (no pun intended), there’s really not much happening for me this week. So let’s rewind to this time last year. Cue the rewind noises and blurred scenes! Ok so I was definitely in school. Kicking ass in all my classes too, that was especially fun. I was speaking to and hanging out with a certain bearded someone a lot at the time too (and no, not santa). So two days before my birthday, this anonymous bearded dude took me on an adventure through the village. We walked from the west village into the east village and then we went shopping. He bought a camera to record all of our adventures and then he took me shopping and bought me what is, to this day, the single most awesome shirt I have ever owned. Then he took me to BBQs and he had these HUGE ribs. And of course, being who he is, he had to quote the Bible.  “THE RIB THAT GOD HAD TAKEN FROM MAN, HE MADE INTO A WOMAN, AND HE BROUGHT HER TO THE MAN!” Blah diddy blah blah blah… And then he ate it. Afterwards we walked and joked and laughed.   And then that weekend, he came to my birthday gathering, where I was lucky enough to get a picture of his naked foot!  Anywhoo, I’m just remembering all the fun I had last year. I’ve been doing a lot of reminiscing lately (for obvious reasons) and now I’m just hoping that despite the suckiness of this entire year thus far, I’ll have just as much fun this year, if not more. Hopefully on Sunday, I’ll have lots of pictures and stories for you all. *fingers crossed* and all that jazz o_O By the way, this song is really freakin catchy!
