It's almost 3 in the morning. I'm not entirely sure when that happened but I digress. I'm tired but my mind won't shut the hell up unless I write something so congrats, insomniacs. You win.Last week was awesome sauce. I'm currently writing a story for this journalism class about 10 little known restaurants in NYC. Needless to say, the fat girl that lives inside of me has been very happy as of late. Of course, I couldn't do this assignment alone. I could, but it would be super boring. So I dragged along Andy and Creepy Thin Man, the ever present participants in my random shenanigans. Where to begin....
We started that first day at the Arch. This wasn't part of the project, I was just craving french toast. Don't judge me.
Our first stop was this place in Chinatown. One of my classmates recommended it, I can't remember exactly who but if you're reading this, thanks! 'Twas delish!
Of course our random shenanigans would be incomplete without the usual tom foolery.
A couple of days later, we hit up Max Caffe, this cute little Italian spot in Harlem, right up the block from Columbia. Needless to say it was packed with students but we eventually got a seat.
I wish I could tell you what was happening here but alas, I'm confused about that myself.
This is my iced tea. It was delicious. I'm just saying.
My grilled chicken panini (w/ roasted red peppers and pesto mayo YUM!) and Andy's chicken wrap. Can't remember what CTM ordered but it was equally scrumptious.
I have no idea what they said to me as to why I look so confused but I love this pic so I thought I'd throw it in. Plus, I'm still pretty! LOL
So this is completely irrelevant but 2 days later, a bunch of us gathered at Andy's house to play a rousing game of Monopoly. I can't even begin to express my regret. That's five hours of my life that I'll never get back and for what?? To pray for bankruptcy to come faster just so I could go home?? *sigh* so sad. Still, fun times....
This was at the beginning of the night, when my buddy Kevin bought all the good property and wasn't selling to anyone...
And this would be the end of the night, after he was the first one to go bankrupt. Lucky bum.
So that was last week. I'm sure there was other stuff but I'm too tired to remember or care so *shrug* whatever.
