My weekend was awesome! Was your weekend awesome? Because mine was. Wanna know how my weekend was? It was AWESOME! Lets start with Friday, shall we?I went to class (bleh) and then to the supermarket. It was my friend Joel's birthday (Hi Joel! *waves*) and he's obsessed with chocolate so I decided to surprise him with *drum roll* cookies and cream cupcakes! I was also excited because it took me a while to find a good cookies and cream cupcake recipe and once I did, I was dying to try it out.
they were so freaking delicious!
YUM, right?! Everyone loved them. I mean, LOOOVED them! Especially Joel so I was happy about that. He ate so much chocolate, I'm not sure how he did it. I guess it's like when I eat a huge barbacoa burrito from Chipotle and then fries from Five Guys and Andy looks at me like I have three heads. But I digress. More pics from Joel's chocolate birthday!
Yeahh, fattest day ever. After lunch and insane amounts of sugar, we went to Shiloh SDA for the Laos in Harmony concert. 'Twas ah-MAH-zing! We had a seriously awesome night. But that's because Laos is awesome...obviously.
So like I said, amazing night. For more about that, click here or head over to laosinharmony.com to get info on upcoming events and all that good stuff.
So today was pretty mellow. Slept in and had a late breakfast with the family. This afternoon, Andy, Creepy Thin Man and I went to Sakura Matsuri at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens which was pretty freaking awesome. Unfortunately, no pics but it's not hard to imagine. It was like comic-con, but with flowers. I saw a few sailor scouts, keyblade holders, even a Sephiroth, a Cloud and my personal favorite, Chung-li (although how she was supposed to do the spinning bird kick with those noodle legs is beyond me). So yeahh, that's about all. So ask me. Go on, you know you want to, just ask me. *waits* Oh, you wanna know how my weekend was? *shrug* It was awesome.
