So today is Monday and tomorrow is election day and things are getting pretty crazy. All these polls show that the race is really close and I, for one, am really looking forward to Wednesday, if for no other reason than it will FINALLY be over. But the fact that this race is so close is a little scary to me. Because that means that there are really people who support that other guy. Lets look at the facts, shall we? He's rude, he can't do math and he's unable to remember anything that might possibly make himself look bad. Also, he damn near endorsed the president in the last debate. So if he thinks the president is doing such a bang up job, and his supporters blindly (as that's the only way one can support such idiocracy) believe everything he says, then aren't his supporters actually Obama supporters? No? Was I reaching? OK, I'm done.
All I'm saying is this: make sure you get out and vote if you haven't done so already. I'm tired of people who just love to complain about the world they live in but refuse to participate in it. If you are one such person, I urge you to walk in front of a bus. You're useless to yourself and everyone around you. But seriously, every vote is important. And if you vote for the other guy, fine. It would be nice (and boring) to live in a perfect world where everyone agreed about everything but we don't. What counts is that you voted. And now, to the fellow supporters of my awesome president, I say this:
On this, the eve of another possible GOP presidential heist, I leave you with these words: constant vigilance! And also, this picture that made me giggle.
Happy voting!
