Hey hey. I'm Sasha.

In real life, I write things. I speak fluent sarcasm. I'm unintentionally funny. My favorite thing is food. Guac is life. I'm a fountain of the most random information. I'm pretty, only because it's weird to call oneself beautiful. I'm weird in all the good ways. I live in the greatest city on Earth. I was Sasha before Beyonce was schizophrenic.
My life is stranger than fiction. But please, don't take my word for it.
My pen is mightier than my sword.

Truth is, I'm not innocent. I'm just an abstinent fireplace that doesn't wanna feel the fire kindled between her legs anymore so don't mind the ashes. They're just evidence of how brightly I can glow and I wanna glow hard like one dim star on an otherwise starless night that shines just to prove its fidelity.

  party, tourists and football

Guys, it's been a pretty freaking crazy weekend. I'm glad it's over but I can't wait for next weekends shenanigans to commence. And trust, they will commence. But I'm getting ahead of myself. This weekend was my nephew's birthday, JP's birthday and the superbowl. Needless to say, I probably slept a total of ten hours from Thursday to Sunday. But it was totally worth it.
So we decided to have a shindig here for Junior and JP since his birthday was the 1st and hers was the 2nd. So basically just a shitload of food and an abundance of West Indians. It was cool though. Got to see a few cousins that I haven't seen in a while and a few uncles. And most importantly, the kids had fun so I'm happy about that. Most of the food was homemade because let's face it, my family can throw down. But we had the best roti ever from Sonny's, amazing jerk tilapia from Mangoseed and my personal favorite, spicy scarpiello wings from Carmine's. For those of you who don't know, the Carmine's that I go to is in the Theater District, almost right in the middle of Times Square which I hate. Don't get me wrong, Times Square is awesome but the tourists, God, I can't take the tourists. But I've ranted about them enough so I'll just move along. As I'm walking through Times Square from Carmine's, one of those comedy ticket seller douchebags stopped me. It was freeeeeezing so I may have come off a bit rude. *Kanye shrug*

Comedy Ticket Seller Douchebag: "Hey! You like comedies? ...hold up, can I have some Carmine's?" *big dumb smile like it's not 50 below brick*
Me: "...no."
Him: "aww come on!" *laughs* "You like comedy? You from here or you from out of town?"
Me: "Mister, I'm walking through Times Square with my head down. Do I look like a tourist to you?"
Him: "You right, have a nice day."

In hindsight, maybe I could've been nicer. But then again, no. Anywho, the party was awesome and like I said, the kids really enjoyed themselves.

Superbowl Sunday was epic. I can't even count the ways, nor will I get into it because some things are just better left unsaid, ya know? I will say this though: I think Superbowl Sunday is my favorite holiday. And yes, I consider it a holiday. What's better than wings and Coronas with awesome people? Don't worry, I'll wait.
I hope everyone had an awesome and fun and safe Superbowl weekend. Until next year, my friends.
