Hey guys. Sorry I've been pretty AWOL. As most of you know, the holliest, jolliest time of year is anything but for me. I've been trying to bake the sadness away though, so the holiday dessert list is pretty extensive. Today was mint chocolate chip cookies. Tomorrow will be vanilla and red velvet cupcakes. I'm saving the good stuff for Christmas day, chocolate souffle and cranberry apple pie. After Christmas, I'm hoping to try my hand at raspberry french macarons. It's said to be one of the hardest cookies to make so it should be a fun challenge. Look out for pictures of all the sweet goodness.Honestly, each year, this season gets a microscopic bit more bearable. But I'm still faking my way through. So forgive me if I'm a bit scarce through the new year. I'm just getting through the best way I know how. I hope everyone has a really happy holiday and a fantastic new year.
