What kind of people would willingly torture themselves by sitting in a classroom for the entire summer?? That’s easy!! Us dorky overachievers and the slackers who have no choice. Still, I won’t act like it’s all easy peasy lemon squeezy. This journalism stuff is hard. Or maybe I’m just lazy and stressed and therefore, I don’t wanna do this shit! Either way, it’s not a cake walk. I have a feeling I think I’m a better writer than I actually am. Which is saying a lot because I don’t think I’m that good a writer. I’m only taking one class this summer, a writing class, but I’m starting to feel like I’m in over my head with it. Still, this is only the first week so I’m hoping it’ll go something like that art class I had last semester where I totally freaked out the first week of school because I felt like I didn’t know anything, kicked ass quite effortlessly all semester long and pulled an A+ outta my ass. Now that’s talent, folks! But somehow, art seems easier than writing. Speaking of art, I’m thinking about starting an art blog, with some of my work as well as the work of others. So if you have anything good (or bad, I’m not picky), please send it to me at spierre88@gmail.com and I’ll post it. Also if I see your work floating around somewhere on the web, don’t be mad if I snatch it up. I will ALWAYS credit the artist. And remember people, there are many different forms of art. It can be pictures, drawings, paintings, poems, blah diddy blah blah blah and all that jazz. How did I get art from talking about torturous school experiences?? I’m really starting to think I have the attention span of a flea. *shrug* Labels: anomaly, in real life |
